In 2006, while in my later 40's, I was looking for an exercise program that would be a bit more gentle on my joints. I took my first yoga class on a whim. In addition to the physical benefits, I was amazed at the feeling of well being, relaxation, and peace!
Instantly hooked, yoga became my refuge.
Two years later, when the opportunity came for me to attend YogaFit teacher training, I gratefully took it. I have been a Certified Yoga Teacher for about five years and love it!
Yoga has given me calmness of mind and emotions. It has added grace and fluidity to my movement, and opened my heart and mind to new ways of thinking and living. I have learned mindefulness, awareness, and an enhanced appreciation for everything. Yoga has become a way of life.
